SCENARIO & SIMULATION BASED RESEARCH

Our team collaborates closely with clients to understand and create a customized research approach to create scenarios or simulations virtually with our state-of-the-art Kongsberg K-Sim full-mission bridge ship simulator or on the water with our boats at Port St. Tammany. Our research focuses on feasibility and risk evaluations using real-life scenarios, collaborating closely with pilots and tugboat masters. This hands-on approach helps us develop practical solutions that enhance safety and efficiency in maritime operations.

OUR Simulation-based research has been used for a wide range of purposes, including:

  • USCG Waterways Suitability Assessment (WSA)
  • USACE Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) and Environmental Assessments (EA)
  • USACE Section 408 Permitting
  • Pilot and Tugboat Safety Operational Guidelines
  • Feasibility and maritime risk studies of new ports, berths, and waterways
